In recent days, #Cuban civil society organizations have denounced the devastating impact of the #US government’s economic war on the Cuban people.
Dr. Dayana Couto Núñez, president of the Cuban Society of #Gynecology and #Obstetrics, says shortages of medicines, medical supplies, technology and fuel are affecting surgeries, ultrasounds, diagnostic tests and maternal care.
According to Couto, the situation is making it harder to detect congenital malformations early and to care for premature and low-birth-weight babies, who often require specialized medication and high-tech equipment.
“Neither our women nor our children are to blame,” she said. “They need #medical care, #medicines and quality resources.”

#Feverfew is a longtime #herbal plant that's been used in ancient traditional #Chinese #medicines for generations. Ancient European cultures used it as medicine too. Feverfew is also used to make fragrances. I grow a lot of them.

I've had a hormonal IUS before, not a copper IUD coil.
jfc insertion is painful (but apparently not for other people??!) but not having to deal with condoms or the pill or anything? for YEARS?!And the success rate is the highest or right up there. I think the arm implant is 1 pregnancy in 2000 couples over a year or two...? Unless that's the hormonal IUS.
ALSO THERE ARE DIFFERENT DOSES AND SIZES. If you're nulliparous (have never given birth) like me, GET THE SMALLEST, holy shit.
Why the flying fuck they bunged the massive Mirena in there, I've no fucking clue. Again: some people feel "mild discomfort" and other people do just feel some mild discomfort but not pain!But yeah, even with the insertion pain, I'm getting an IUS again soon. It's just that damn convenient and reliable, I cannot lie.
