This headline is disingenuous at best, an outright lie at worst: It's possible to get addicted to pot. Here's what to know - I’m surprised at the #AP for running such nonsense. Sure, one can become dependent on #cannabis but addicted, no. Addition requires a few things: high on the list are needing more and more of the drug to achieve the same result and physical withdrawal symptoms when stopping use cold-turkey. Neither is true of #Marijuana. No user ever said: I need more and more pot just to get high, that’s BS of the highest order. If anything, over time it takes less and less. And so many users, especially seniors, use #MedicinalMarijuana to save hundreds many thousands in annual medication costs. The is just #BigPharma spreading lies to create discord.
