[P] I have a tangential hypothesis. If we assume that prolonged, intense injustice.and abuse can result in neurodivergent development and the absence—or at least rdduction of—the sociopathy room? (And I do believe this.) Then the broken homes and cruel economy of life today might actually result in a neurodivergent bloom, where a non-trivial number of Gen Alpha children are developing neurodivergentally.

[P] The sociopathy room should not be considered normal or healthy, it's the worst pathology the human species has. Unfortunately, the way humans work is that if the majority has an issue, this issue is normal and healthy. But it isn't. It shouldn't be. The sociopathy room allows terrible atrocities to happen. The problem is is that over millennia, it's been normalised. I want to talk about that a bit.

[P] Theneurotypical has a partitioned off segment of their mind where no empathy exists, the sociopathy room. In the sociopathy room, no empathy exists, even hate can fester. Ursula K. Le Guin's Omelas appears to be a condemnation of the sociopathy room. It's why the bystander efect exists. It's also why, when exposed to a person being tortured with no means of escape? The victim will be loathesome.

[P] I have spent some time wondering whether the sociopathy room is a coping mechanism neurotypicals have. I've gone back and forth on this because it could be the most pathological coping mechanism in existence, but then again, neurotypicals enjoy the creation of strange otherness just to murder it in the bloodiest, cruellest way conceivable. The limping and crying of beasts in Monster Hunter, et al.
