I'm on Medicare. I decided to not take the Medicare Advantage plans, because of the horror stories I heard.

If you read the article, you see one guy who at first was fine with his insurance, but then he got a lesion and things went sour pretty quick at that point.

This is one of the utterly shitty aspects of our healthcare system (in the US): you have to pull a crystal ball out of thin air and predict what you're going to need.

This is true for everyone. It is just more painful for some people than others.
