For the last couple of days I have tried this strain of weed called razzle jack. It's a hybrid sativa and usually I do not do well with those I have in fact tried in the past there was even when I bought in the past called Alpine strawberry, and while that one was good the pen had a setting on it and I turned it up to the max. But this one is different it allows me to be motivated and get the things done that I need to do on a daily basis it is helping with my depression which there seems to be plenty of that to go around for me. Donald Trump’s executive order to ease restrictions on marijuana is the culmination of more than a yearlong campaign by the cannabis industry to persuade the president to embrace a cause the GOP has historically opposed.
The effort included not only traditional levers of influence such as lobbying and political donations, but encompassed opinion polling and one-on-one conversations with friends of the famously sober president.
“I’ve never been inundated by so many people as I have about” reclassifying marijuana, Trump said during a signing ceremony in the Oval Office on Thursday.
High on that list of people was Howard Kessler, a financial services executive and longtime friend of Trump’s who attended the future president’s wedding to Melania Trump in 2005. Kessler pushed and prodded Trump to sign the executive order, according to multiple cannabis industry and administration officials with knowledge of how it came about. He was also a champion for one of the other policy changes Trump announced Thursday: a pilot program that would allow Medicare to cover treatments involving CBD for seniors.

I entered this Monday with hope and joy, but with financial concerns. After all, I was still overdrawn by -$400, and a new and exciting thing hit my account this weekend.
You see, as many of you know, while I was living in the horrible situation that I had found myself in during the two years I lived in Iowa, I had a THC medical card and I used THC pretty regularly to keep myself from having a crisis every single day. Upon leaving Iowa, my plan had been to quit THC, and so far that plan has stuck.
Unfortunately, it appears I'll need a medical card in Pennsylvania anyway. Legal protections against discrimination in employment due to the use of medical marijuana exist in Pennsylvania, but only for Pennsylvania account holders. To ensure that no drug test impedes my approach towards employment, I had to pay $153 for a doctor's appointment to get evaluated for a THC card here.
And that sucks. I didn't want that. I need it to make sure nothing stops me from working, but I hate it and I wish I could've saved that money.
There is a silver lining. This morning, I met Chime. Chime is a neobank for people struggling and trying to rebuild their credit—and wow, do I need address that issue soon. I was able to open an account with them, and that means that all GoFundMe funds will be immediately accessible to me as of tomorrow.
I was broke. And now, thanks to you, and to Chime, I have $80 in my pocket. Enough to get around and get things done for at least a few days. Thank you!
The Capital One account is still overdrawn, but now that's a problem that can wait for me to be ready to address it. After I have a sign-on bonus in my pocket that will render -$400 into a mild inconvenience and not an existential threat.
I am relieved. And now I make phone calls. Because it's not over yet! But we are getting closer. Seven-to-ten business days? This is officially Day One. Tomorrow, it'll be six-to-nine business days, and that fucking rocks.
Gods, what a fucking relief to get a break from that overdraft. It's all I needed. Just a little more time. And a little more help from you will take me that rest of the way. 💙

Got an email saying to hurry up. I have just over 6 weeks left to renew. Went to the doc. Got the recertification.
State website says it's too early to request a card renewal. I have to wait until 30 days prior the expiry date - 3 more weeks. 🙄
Meanwhile, I wondering how long until this administration decides to send the gestapo out to arrest all MM users because, medical or not, it's still a federal crime. 🥴I'm gonna need a stronger troche.

@DrOinFLA I am also grateful for #MedicalMarijuana tonight. I've had a headache/migraine all day & was super nauseous on my way home from work. Smoked a sativa dominant hybrid with CBD flower and I finally have relief. I napped. I ate dinner. When I wake up tomorrow I'm going to (hopefully) feel good. With pharmaceuticals I would have slept but been out of it for about 24 hours.
Be gentle with yourself. Does giving it some ice or heat help too? Heat does wonders when my neck acts up.

"Cannabis burst across the Western medicine horizon after its introduction by William O’Shaughnessy in 1838", as one study below states. However, use of the flower for therapeutic benefit, has been documented throughout history and evident in many cultures around the globe. From the pre-colonized Americas, to China, India, and the Middle East, people have known of its healing qualities, long before modern Western civilisation. One particular mention, has been a "bone" of contention with a Christian translation of ancient Hebrew manuscripts.In Exodus 30: 20-23, Moses was given a "recipe" for an anointing oil, with very specific ingredients and measurements. Some feel the Hebrew text was mistranslated by erroneously listing "sweet calamus" , essentially removing perhaps, the most essential component of the healing oil. Hebrew scripts use the term Kaneh-Bosm ( וּקְנֵה־ בֹ֖שֶׂם – ū-qə-nê hḇō-śem) where, the altered Christian Bible lists "sweet calamus", also referred to as aromatic calamus/aromatic cane, in some translations.
According to the passage, the application of the "shemen mishchah kodesh" (holy anointing oil), is said that people or objects it is used on, become "kodesh kodashim" (most holy). More commonly cited Scriptures talk of "smoke-filled tents", and, as in Genesis 1:29, "every herb (plant) bearing seed" for use as "meat". There's even the discovery of a black resinous substance, noted below. Even for staunch religious opponents of the plant, there seem to be enough supporting evidence, to at least warrant consideration.
Other studies suggest cannabis, a relative of hops used in beer, "evolved about 8 million years ago on the eastern Tibetan Plateau". Chinese farmers grew it for oil and fiber to make clothing, rope and paper, more than 4000 years ago. Science.org reports on "the oldest evidence" of cannabis being burned was found in China, and dates back to about 2500 years ago. However, potentially earlier evidence was found in a 2700-year-old Israelite temple in Tel Arad. What was described as a well-preserved substance discovered in the temple, was tested and confirmed to be, a form of cannabis resin containing THC. It is believed that it was burned and inhaled for its psychoactive and healing properties. The attached photo is from the scienceorg piece, shows what could be, one of the first versions of a "pot pipe" found in China.

Instead, they used a variety of hemp, native to the West called "Apocynum Cannabinum". Though mainly used as a strong fiber for textiles, cannabinum was used in the practice of tribal medicines, as well. The poisonous plant was cautiously processed to make tea for treating things like: "heart palpitations, eye disease and headaches", even being used to "burn off warts" by the Chickasaw Nation. Other cultural accounts, also seem to indicate that Kaneh Bosm was a commonly accepted resource, used for medical, spiritual and sustenance purposes throughout history.
