You know what? The irony is not lost on me that we know *exactly* what's wrong with all of those #MediaTools that we coin new terms / concepts to describe them while we still make heavy use of them ... because of ... "engagement" 🤢

Walk the talk, people! If you'd want to persuade / influence others about your own ideas, I'd appreciate leading by example. Stop justifying your own use of such toxic tools! 😤

Aaah, I still remember rather fondly when, 4 or 5 years ago, people on #MediaTools stated rather adamantly the #Fediverse was doomed because you couldn't rely on #Decentralised social networking tools.
