• Principalul motiv invocat de liderii proiectului este burnout-ul acumulat după mai bine de 7 ani și jumătate de muncă voluntară intensă, timp în care Jellyfin a crescut de la un simplu fork la o aplicație utilizată de milioane de oameni.🤝 Tranziție amiabilă:
• Retragerea se face într-un mod organizat și fără conflicte de infrastructură. Echipa rămasă va prelua gestionarea platformei, neexistând riscul unui fork ostil sau al opririi dezvoltării.🚀 Viitorul proiectului:
• Proiectul rămâne pe mâini sigure, fiind susținut în continuare de comunitatea largă de dezvoltători. Liderii care se retrag au promis sprijin pe parcursul perioadei de tranziție pentru a asigura continuitatea platformei.Un moment important care aduce din nou în prim-plan provocările legate de burnout și sustenabilitatea în lumea software-ului open-source dezvoltat de comunitate! ❤️
