Pienamente in vigore il Media Freedom Act, gli Stati devono difendere l’informazione

La legislazione #Ue concepita per salvaguardare pluralismo e Stato di diritto in una delle sue espressioni base. Il regolamento, approvato ad aprile 2024, era entrato già in vigore dal 7 maggio 2024, ma a partire da oggi (8 agosto), è applicato completamente e integralmente.

Suomi on edistänyt Eurooppa-neuvostossa Unkarin kanssa toimittajien televalvonnan sallimista EU:n mediavapaussäädöksessä (Media Freedom Act).

Kun vedämme itse tällaista linjaa, meillä ei ole mitään oikeutta natista toisten lehdistönvapausloukkauksista.

Säädös menee perjantaina trilogiin. Vielä ehtii nostaa mekkalan.

The European Parliament on Tuesday voted in favour of stronger rules protecting press freedom and journalists.

The so-called Media Freedom Act, proposed in September 2022 by the European Commission, aims to enforce greater transparency of media funding, the protection of outlets from political pressure and the defence of journalists from spyware, such as Pegasus.
