#afterwargundamx is really a hidden gem in #gundam series.
It's really original, both as setting and as #mechadesign and interprets the #newtype concept in a "definite" manner that UC series didn't manage to. It's a satisfying finale.

Then it has some really delicate and cute moments well placed in a crude but not hopeless setting, balancing everything very nicely. I found very little to criticize, even in the character design, which aged quite decently compared to other series (#gundamwing and #victorygundam I'm looking at you).

Plus it has 39 episodes, slightly less than usual, so it's a strong recommendation if you want a one-of Gundam series without having to commit to the UC saga (which is worth your time in all the four main installments, but are still long).

Testing with making the free/early access posts actually free (as in, "public"--still trying to figure out how to do those on Substar), with the character du jour: Oriana The Gold, Astemar's mecha (or "Maschine" in-story). The first original mecha I ever drew in my life! :houston_shocked:
