    The article seems to imply that this could be disruptive (ie bad) for Canadian meat producers. My experience in Canada is that there's a general messaging that US meat is lower in quality than Canadian meat.

    Therefore my understanding is Canadian producers want to raise animals in Canada, have them slaughtered in the US and then sold as American meat products in the US, while at the same time telling Canadians that American meat products are inferior.

    Is that about it?
