Ich finde ja dieses #Meater-Funkthermometer für's #Grillen und #Backen durchaus praktisch.

Die App läuft mit Magisk auch auf gerootetem Android im Arbeitsprofil.

Allerdings stören mich ein paar Dinge:

1. Mit der Grillzange kann man das Ding nicht wirklich zuverlässig in das Fleisch reinstecken und rausholen, dafür braucht man eine normale Zange, einen Grillhandschuh oder Topflappen.

2. Die App fordert mich nach erfolgreichem Einsatz auf, eine Bewertung abzugeben.🤨

Der unter anderem von PeTA als #vegan bezeichnete Johann #Lafer macht übrigens mittlerweile Werbung für den #Meater - was im Video so passiert erspart ich euch lieber.

Nicht, dass ich jemals an einen ("teilzeit")veganen Lafer geglaubt hätte & er hat ja relativ bald in der #küchenschlacht bewiesen, dass er nicht mal wirklich vegetarisch kann, aber durch dieses lächerliche ran ziehen von #PeTA werd ich halt nie vergessen, dass das überhaupt mal Thema war.

#Meater probe in #HomeAssistant. Even the BBQ in my place is smart. The app is actually pretty good but having it in HA as well helps for when the phones BT is out of range. I still get notifications through HA.

#Today I'm cooking a potroast for dinner which will actually be beef dip, not a proper roast dinner.

I'm so excited, it's gonna be SO GOOD.

Also love using my Meater probes to keep an eye on the roast from my phone.
