So good to go back to bushcare after a few weeks of not being able to for various reasons.

This morning we took care of hundreds of native plants we recently planted at the end of Roseglen Street Park (pictured), in the Norman Creek catchment, pulling out the weeds before they take over the seedlings.

Joined more than 40 locals to plant more than 730 plants this morning. This area was cleared of weeds to prepare for it. It's part of an important urban nature corridor along Norman Creek, connected to the bushcare site I usually volunteer at. A koala was spotted in this area not long ago, looks like they might be exploring beyond their Whites Hill and Toohey Forest hotspots.
