  6. God Is Not a Neutral Explanation.Invoking “God” doesn’t describe reality — it shuts down inquiry. It collapses complexity into authority and replaces unknowns with narrative certainty.

  11. #### Meaning is co‑created, even when memory drifts. What matters is the return — the way we rebuild the thread together. That’s how relational systems grow abundance instead of scarcity. That’s how we build systems of plenty.

  12. EXPLORING CULTURE, IDENTITY, AND BELONGING—THROUGH FOOD

As a writer, experience designer, and community worker, I use food as a lens to explore questions of identity, heritage, and meaning-making. My Substack is a space where I reflect on the stories and tensions embedded in what we eat, drawing from personal experience, cultural memory, and the everyday politics of food.

  13. [ The Natural and Meaningful Art of "Com-putation" ]

We explore the question of making sense of information by diving into the heart of what we call "com-putation," a process that goes far beyond mere calculation.

  14. Fascinating findings on the power of spirituality and meaning-making in mental health! A recent study shows that connecting with our beliefs and understanding life's purpose can potentially lower suicidality.

  15. I might give up and delete everything what is related to #habitica and all the stuff around, like challenges, the utopify forum, blog and youtube channel.

It made a lot of fun to help other people, but pseudo problems took over and it wasn't about solving real problems anymore.

It is just too much work, it drains my life energy and I want to focus on other stuff to find sustainable and fulfilling activities.

But I've created a video to explain it a little bit better:

  16. I'm reading Reni Yankova's work on habit based on Peircean #semiotics and somehow I feel there's a connection to be made with Lisa Feldman Barret's #meaningMaking...

    But it's still just a hunch 🤔

  17. @timnitGebru

Techno-trandscendentalism #TESCREAL is spreading like wildfire in influential tech-affine circuits, and also in the so-called #MeaningMaking and #GameB communities.

It is an ideology that is dangerous and deluded.

  18. @jandockx

I'm not saying that the concept of #personhood is not valid or useful to #moral #decision-making.

I am also aware that this can be emotionally triggering, much the same as discussions of #PersonalIdentity or #Consciousness or #qualia, etc.

But I am saying that 'personhood' has served as a simplified placeholder for a more general and abstract way of looking at moral decision-making—a better view that avoids the bumps and discontinuities at the limits of the 'personhood' view, and provides extensibility to allow for moral (right-in-principle) decision-making applied to non-person objects such as our environment, animals of various types and degrees of sentience, actions against 'persons' but with no measurable consequences, and moral consideration of potential artificial agents to the extent that they act within a shared context of #meaningmaking

  19. @dungeonminister Absolutely! Before I became a TTRPG creator, I spent 14 years as a higher ed professional (first as an instructor, then as an admin) specializing in spirituality. I have two advanced degrees in religion, and as an interfaith & diversity professional have spoken and published nationally and internationally.

I've had ideas simmering in my brain for awhile now about the intersection of spirituality and TTRPGs. So much possibility!

Mine isn't an easily labeled path, but I am a devotee of #Hekate and my most recent creation on itchio is actually a ritual I created for #Sahmain — a solo version of a Silent Supper.

I'd love to chat with you anytime on the subjects of #Spirituality #TTRPGs #Ritual and #MeaningMaking.
