Overview The City of Lindsborg is a city located within McPherson County in the modern State of Kansas in the United States. The Jewish community in Canada and the Israeli Embassy in Canada immediately mobilized to thwart #McPherson's proposal. The Jewish community made it clear to the government and the House of Commons that such a proposal is unacceptable. More than 30,000 Jewish Canadians and allies of the Jewish community mobilized against the #NDP's proposal, and within a few days, sent 900,000 emails to members of Parliament and thousands of phone calls to MPs' offices. These efforts led to a change. At the request of the Israeli Embassy in Canada, Defense Minister Benny Gantz also called Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who asked him to prevent the passage of the original proposal.
