The #WTO’s summer break is ending. Serious preparations are starting for the next Ministerial Conference (#MC13) just 5 months away.
One priority is to break the deadlock over the #FisheriesSubsides Agreement. Negotiators now have a new draft⬇️ to work on.
New draft starts text-based rush for WTO fish subsidies’ ‘missing piece’ on subsidies contributing to overcapacity and overfishing. Members want to complete the deal by February 2024
