В этом тексте я написал про то как написать крохотный, но очень полезный загрузчик. В программировании на STM32 бывает нужно сделать так, чтобы загрузчик оказался не в начале Flash памяти а в конце. Поэтому надо написать отдельную крохотную прошивку первичного загрузчика, которая просто при старте передает управление на другой адрес в физической памяти. Такие прошивки я называю MBR (Master Boot record).

How I switched us.slackware.nl from lilo to grub
Today I finally switched my US server from lilo to grub as its bootloader.
The reason for doing it now, is that I usually do not have a remote IP console (KVM) to that physical server which is located in a US datacenter whereas I live in Europe. This server's storage is configured as software RAID1

Seit ungefähr dem Ende des 1.Quartal im Jahr 2024 bin ich fort von Windows 10 und hin zu Linux gewechselt, da mich Windows 10 zunehmen extrem genervt hatte mit den beständigen Updates für irgendwelche neue „Schnüffeleien“ getarnt als unscheinbare Anwendungen im Hintergrund welche nur bedingt sowie mit Aufwand deaktiviert werden konnten.

La genèse du ransomware remonte avec l’histoire d’un docteur, Joseph Popp. Le parallèle avec le docteur Jekyll et de M. Hyde, semble être proche d’une réalité palpable. Il est à l’origine des rançongiciels dans sa démarche avec l'envoi de 26 000 disquettes « AIDs Trojan ».
Puis l’évolution des chiffrements avec des clefs de plus en plus grandes. Le passage du chiffrement symétrique à l’asymétrique est aussi une évolution.
La différence est que le Dr Popp recevait par virement les sommes sur un compte au Panama. Dorénavant, les cybercriminels perçoivent des bitcoins.L’évolution d’une société de plus en plus connectée (IoT), de plus en plus « informatisé » fait face à des défis constants en matière de cybersécurité et d'hygiène informatique.
Le rapport de la Cour des comptes sur la sécurité des établissements de santé est sans appel : « les autorités publiques ont réagi avec retard en finançant sur cinq ans un programme de prévention et de protection. Cette dynamique doit être poursuivie. »

2. Boot #Arch #Linux via #PXE and #NFS #rootfs on the server.
3. Expose PCIe M.2 SSD via #NBD.
4. Mount NBD on another computer.
5. Create #QEMU #VM on that other computer, give it access to the NBD and #boot from the USB drive.
6. Install Windows
7. Install GRUB on second USB drive.
8. Plug it into the server to chainload Windows.
