I’ve mentioned this before long ago, #ShopeePay is way better than #TnGeWallet - even when it was part of the #Shopee app, more so now that it’s become a standalone #eWallet app. As ‘simplistic’ as its UI is, its UX is swell and easy to use.

It doesn’t bombard you with a ton of features/functionalities most people wouldn’t ever need from a ‘simple’ eWallet, you can topup as lil as 1 MYR rather than TnG’s ridiculous 20 MYR minimum (any lower, you’ll need to use #DuitNow), and its QR payment system to send/receive is completely compatible with DuitNow.

TnG’s (QR) for example do not support sending money to #Maybank’s (or presumably any other bank’s) DuitNow QR for personal accounts for whatever reason, only merchant’s. Heck, even their face recognition system for verification purposes works way better and more reliably than #TouchNGo’s. ShopeePay only needs dark mode, #ApplePay and #GooglePay as payment methods for topup (which are already supported on Shopee itself but somehow missing here), and it’s golden.
