John #Mayall oli yksi suurimmista inspiraatioista sille, että perustin Blues-Finland.comin vuonna 2006. Persoonallinen laulaja ja soittaja, ennen kaikkea ainutkertainen bändiliideri.
Kunnia oli nähdä hänet useita kertoja, ja rupattelimme puhelimessakin muutama vuosi sitten. Puhelun aikana kiinnostus keskustelukumppania kohtaan oli jokseenkin yksipuolista.
Johnin musiikki ja taiteellinen perintö elävät ikuisesti. Kiitos, brittibluesin kuningas.
