How are #Joan #Arcwolf-Dhivri and #Maxx-Arcwolf-Kisne similar? How are they different? Well, for one, they're both AFABs, although Joan is a woman and Maxx is more of a man than most cis men you'll ever meet. That ain't even hyperbole. 💪

Four years ago, #Maxx #Kisne traveled back in time 19 years, to our timeline, in order to save our star. All he brought with him were his clothes, his weapons, and his trusty #chocobo #Rocket.
In #FFXIVRP terms, this is backstory, and Rocket has been with us now for the better part of four years of RP.
Today, one of #Joan's chocobos, #Rime, gave birth to a brood of chocobo chicks that includes #LJ's brand newborn baby chocobo, whom she has named Rocket because "he boo and he go fast!" Which I suppose are fine reasons to name someone Rocket to a three-year-old, I suppose. 😂
The picture of the adult man and the giant blue chocobo are Maxx and Rocket in the present (and they're about 19 years ahead of us in terms of their age and maturity). The picture of Joan and LJ with the two chocobos, where it's the little chick that's blue? That's LJ (Maxx's current timeline variant) with baby Rocket. 💙

Tonight for my All Saint's Wake (#Halloween) party on #FFXIV, I told an original flash fiction story in the voice of my son #Maxx. I thought it'd be a silly little thing, but it seems like people thought I did a good job with it! So I've decided to share it here with all of you! 💙
It's based on a story from Jewish legend, altered slightly for FFXIV. Maxx tells it, so of course Darkness is safe and Light is the worst. 😹
Without further ado...!
"The Miracle of Forgetting"
by Maxx StormwolfIt's said that the day that you're born, your soul is wrenched from its resting place within the Lifestream and thrust into the bubbling, boiling, churning flesh of what would one day become a child. The whole time, you are aware. You remember everything, every life, every sorrow, every horror, every instance of pain and suffering...and you're aware that you can't move. Not in this darkness, smothered from all sides by throbbing flesh.
Then one day, the flesh rips open, and monstrous movements slowly sluice you out of the body that had been your prison, revealing your prison to be that of a newborn child, with useless limbs and muted senses. You scream, but the faces all around you--massive and out of focus--they only laugh at you. You sob. They coo at you, their voices high pitched like the streaks of a dying animal.
And that night, when you are finally freed from the torture of hands and fingers grasping at you, touching you, gripping you, from the faces screaming and laughing and crying... only then, do you finally find a modicum of peace with the sun having set and the darkness filling the room where you've been lain against your will. And that is when the worst happens.
It is said that every newborn child is given a guardian angel. It is when everyone else is gone that this creature appears, wrapped in flame and speaking to you in a voice like thunder. And you see it approaching you, knowing all the while that this monster intends to destroy you. That he has the power to do so. And that now, more than ever, you are helpless to stop him. You cry, you scream, but no one listens. Anyone who would is too tired to come to your aid. Instead, the angel is allowed to reach your crib, curling the blanched tentacles that it would call fingers around the railing and watching you with teeth bared like a hungry beast.
The angel says something, but you cannot understand its voice. Only that it hurts to hear. Your cries grow louder, but to no avail.
Then the angel reaches down with a single finger, laying it softly just below your nose, above your upper lip, burning and disfiguring you with a sign of its passing: a single crease between your nose and mouth. And you feel your history burn away. Everything that made you who you are, twisted and torn until it is nothing at all. As the angel bids you to "Forget."
And so it is that all of us are born, haunted from the very first by monstrous Light and its vicious servitors, marking you forever as their own, and robbing you of all that you once were, leaving you ignorant and alone in this new life that you are now doomed to live.

I haven't caught anyone here up on what's been going on in my #FFXIVRP in a while, and maybe I ought to do that.
It's so much! We just wrapped up Season 1 of our Machine War saga two months ago, and we're on the second episode of Season 2 now. We've introduced #Accord, who we discovered was stuck inside of the Fruit of the Protector in the Rak'tika Greatwood since the First Machine War thousands of years ago.
In our Season 1 finale, my son--who went by #Lily but now goes by his new middle name #Maxx--transitioned and also finally graduated from the #Studium as an #Archon! He chose to have his archon tattoo placed on his right cheek, just like his favorite professor #Urianger (for those who don't know, Maxx is from the future, so the Urianger we know and love has only recently met him). Maxx lovingly calls him Prof Uri, and yes, he can speak like Urianger does, even though he only does it for the lulz.
#Noah--the heart of the primal #Metatron and Maxx's twin from his own timeline--came to ours for the final episodes of Season 1 too, and he nearly destroyed the star and claimed our #Lifestream for his own. But at the last moment, we were able to stop him with the help of #Golbez, #Zero, Urianger, and #Thancred. We kinda broke the #Ragnarok doing it. Sorry about that. But don't worry. They'll have it fixed by the time 7.1 comes out.
When Metatron died, #Joan soaked up much of his aether and became insanely overpowered. Mostly, so far, it's been little more than an annoyance. Especially since it's begun to make her and her family/friends a primary target for the Watchers, who have now arrived on the Source and are causing trouble. Right now, our biggest problem is the Watcher named #Zophiel, who seems very determined to take us out.
And while that's a lot of information, it barely scratches the surface of all that's happened. So I'll come back more often and let you all know how things are going.

串聯了兩顆 ATI Rage Pro 128 晶片
而串聯的技術正如其名
稱為 #MAXX
這個 MAXX 也被部分人認為是 ATi 以及後續 #AMD #CrossFire 技術的前身而 3dfx 則是到了 2000 年才推出Voodoo5 5500
然而技術環境劇烈改變
已然不是只依靠核心堆疊就能追上跟其他廠商效能的差異順帶一提
3dfx 後續被 #nvidia 收購
不過兩者的 SLI 技術
只有簡寫相同而已 -

This book is the first for this letter and it's a unique one. #SamKieth wrote, pencilled and inked this book and when it came out it didn't look like anything else out there. Great book.
