Finally! I was looking for a complete-in-box #Matrox #Mystique for quite some time. Wasn't cheap, but not as expensive as some offers on eBay either...

It's the 220 from 1997, not the original one, sadly. But better than nothing and the only difference is the RAMDAC anyway.

My #Matrox MGA Millennium has a serial number of 0041. That's... very low. 😲

Btw, it has the "IS-STORM" chip, not the later MGA-2064W.

Can someone tell me why so many people and websites claim that the #Matrox MGA #Millennium does not support texture mapping? That's complete bullsh*t. It does, even the official promo video (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w76yFJ2zJyw) tells that it supports texture mapping in hardware. And how do these people even think the 3d-accelerated version of NASCAR Racing works on the card? The game is fully texture-mapped...

Anyway, unlike the earlier Impression (Plus), the Millennium does support texture mapping.

I'm a real sucker for early 3d accelerator cards for #PC, and today I got a card I was looking for for quite some time: an original mid-1995 #Matrox MGA Millennium - complete in box with all the goodies, incl. a copy of NASCAR Racing. 🥳

Next card to find is the original Mystique. I own two of them already, but missing the box and manual.
