• The blend of feature showcase and SRE (site-reliability) insights.If you’re working at the intersection of open source communication infrastructure, federation, sovereign software, or enterprise messaging - this is well worth your time.

The Matrix conf is over, time for a less ironic display name.
It was a better experience than I anticipated. I had some great conversations with some people at Element without the usual marketing stuff (please talk more to the community in the matrix-spec room! It was really nice actually understanding goals of certain MSCs better!). I also had some good conversations about some of my critics of the Matrix spec and MSC process (and now have two MSCs to write :blobCat_oh_no:).

Had a wonderful time at #MatrixConf2025. Nice people and interesting talks in a very beautiful city. Only the #ClubMate situation was a little problematic 😄 Thanks to all volunteers and the organizers.

Har hatt en fredelig lørdag morgen og fått vedlikeholdt flere av Element-oversettelsesprosjektene. Ja, og FluffyChat fikk også litt kjærlighet.
I sum har en god del nye tekststrenger blitt oversatt til bokmål!
Tenkte dette var en fin "tribute" til Matrix-miljøet som har sin store årlige konferanse i Strasbourg denne uken.
Håper dette er til glede for flere 😀

We had an amazing after show gathering with the activists from @hackstub after a successful last evening of the #MatrixConf2025. It was an interesting exchange, we learned a lot about your work and it was super pleasant to network with other hackers sharing our vision and values we bear as the ecosystem.
Now time to catch some sleep before rocking the last conference day.
