Jeg manglede en pose Koke, så jeg måtte lige en tur udenfor, efter jeg havde spist morgenmad - dagens Giro-etape startede tidligt.
Jeg troede egentlig, jeg var kommet mig ovenpå turen i tirsdags, men benene var godt nok stadig noget tunge i dag. Det forhindrede mig dog ikke i at hygge mig undervejs med bare at lade benene diktere tempoet.
Og nu kan jeg hygge mig med Koke og Giro ✌️😌

I formiddags benyttede jeg mig af, at jeg har ret meget frihed til at planlægge mit arbejde, som jeg vil, snørede løbeskoene og løb 23 km.
Efter ti km. begyndte jeg at mærke forsiden af mine lår, og omkring 15 km. var det ballerne. Ved 18 km. var det både og. Fra 20 km. var tanken ved at være tom, og de sidste tre km. løb jeg på stædighed.
Til gengæld saksede jeg 6,5 minut af min bedste halvmaraton-tid. Det er da også en sjat 🥳
Og nu løber jeg ingen steder de næste par dage.

1) To cross both the start and the finish lines. ✅
2) To have fun. ✅
3) To be in control of the last 10k. ✅I would have loved to beat my PR too - but I’ll look to that in connection with Malmö Marathon on October 3. I already look forward to it.

At 42.195k, I finished the Copenhagen Marathon with a smile and a profound sense of gratitude and accomplishment. I even managed to throw in a sprint for the last 200m while I celebrated, yelled, and punched holes in the air.
This was truly a victorious moment, and an emotional one as well.
Right there, I didn’t want it to end - and simultanously very much wanted it to end. I had given all I had to give, and gotten so much in return.
