Für institutionelle Accounts auf #Mastodon ist es schon schwierig, kein Statistiktool für #Socialmedia-Aktiväten mehr zu haben; man ist ja schon rechenschaftspflichtig. Und außerdem muss jetzt alles von Hand gezählt werden... seufz🥴

I just finished my first version of #tootsnoop - a #Mastodon #statistics tool:

It shows you the x topmost boosts, favs, replies to your messages of the last y days.
Its text output format is #orgdown, the syntax of #orgmode. Perfect for #Emacs users and easy to read for the rest of us.

Does anybody know a similar alternative to get some insight on the popularity of my toots to get some form of feedback?

Until FediWrapped is available to all, though, there's always tools like #MastoMetrics (https://mastometrics.com) to see more insights on your posts.
I'm not a fan of "make line go up" type engagement on platforms but even so I do find these sorts of analytics interesting

@robertvh I’ve been quite impressed by #Mastometrics and believe it could play an important role in the Fediverse. I would be sad to see it go.
Can you tell me what your ideal solution would be? Is it a continuous income stream that would at least cover the running cost? Someone to host it for free? Someone to share development or maintenance burden with?

Y'all post a lot cause MastoMetrics database is 20GB right now. I'm trying to move/migrate it to a cheaper hosting but at this rate that takes ages 🥲
Just 2.6k users amounts to:
- 2.8 million posts
- 5.3 million data points
- 6.9 million like/boosts/replies -
Zastanawiałem się po co te wykresy z #MastoMetrics i teraz już wiem… to po to, żeby zobaczyć kiedy kolektiva strzeliła tego swojego foszka i co z tego wyniknęło. xD
Swoją drogą chyba najwyższy czas posprzątać tam martwe dusze, bo to też potencjalne boty które karmią huk wie co… Tylko strasznie mi się nadal nie chce. :>

OK, for the third day in a row now, @heiseonline gained way more follwers on #Mastodon than on any other day in two months, I think. Maybe it's not a fluke? It does feel more crowded since the weekend, doesn't it? Would be about time, I'd say. Not that it was quiet before.

Then this is nothing for #Mastometrics, but maybe users would want to know something along the line: "How big is my federated timeline (meaning, how much accounts are collected there) and how big/small is that in comparison to somesones say on mastodon.social? Becaus if "Follow a hashtag" is nothing more than a "Filter for your federated timeline", this would be a useful info.. -
