Sonnwendfeier im Stall. Eine Einstellerin ist Konditormeisterin und hat alle Pferde des Stalls "naturgetreu" in Fimo nachmodelliert. Auch Joey ist natürlich dabei, wie im ersten Bild zu sehen.

The integration with the others went very well so far, everybody is relaxed and Joey clearly is enjoying his freedom on the huge patch of grass with his seven other horse-friends.

Es ist wirklich schön zu sehen wie mein Reitopa (Haflinger, 27 Jahre) wieder aufblüht.
Vor einem Jahr stand die Frage im Raum,ob er den Sommer noch schafft, weil ihm jede Bewegung weh zu tun schien.
Jetzt arbeiten wir seitdem zusammen, und er macht jetzt wieder Faxen wie ein Fünfjähriger.
Es geht ihm gut. Die Zeit hat sich gelohnt! :)

Danzig watches over the ladies. This band is led by a stallion named Burn. Danzig, the gray stallion, is actually second in command. As lieutenant it is his job protect and keep the mares together. Burn is fending off an intruder. Wild horse society is endlessly fascinating.

Freckles is the dominant mare in Tango's small band in the south Onaqui herd. She leads the group back for a second visit to the waterhole before they head back to the mountains for the evening. Tango, in the middle, is already muddy from their first visit.

Bachelor Boys! This group of young stallions of the south Onaqui herd have just climbed the ridge that surrounds the waterhole. Their feet still muddy from standing in the water's edge, they cautiously survey the surroundings before moving back down into the desert.

Never too late for Mustang Monday! This guy didn't want to be seen. He was hiding in thick brush on a hillside, watching carefully as other horses approached from the south. As they got close, he quietly disappeared off the back of the hill and came around to greet them.

A wild stallion on Utah's west desert takes his girlfriend for a drink at the local waterhole. The pinto mare is known locally as Aiyana. The bay stallion doesn't have a local name. They have been a couple for a few years now and are never seen too far apart.
