I can’t find the original toot that mentioned this, but here’s a reminder: please put all hashtags at the end instead of interspersing them in the body of your message. When alt readers process the sequence of “hashtag topic” it’s a mashup that creates a barrier to communication.

Finally had a chance to read some of the tips. Very well done. If I started with your website fedi.tips I would have saved myself some consternation (toots, instances, edit images), but figuring it out also meant I spent a lot of time interacting with people and toots. Win/Win either way. Definitely recommend for those who want to spend less time floundering.
