Okay, so for the sake of my energy and sanity, I'm going to paste our intro from Plural Café with some modifications:
Hi! We're the :drgn_flag_plural: Dragonheart System, system of 6 Dragons! I am Luigi, and I'm the host and primary fronter of the system and the typical face of our socials because of it. I'm :asexual_flag: :aromantic_flag: aroace and :genderqueer_flag: genderqueer and go by they/she pronouns (or any besides he/it)!
We run the Dragonheart #Tulpamancy System Blog on #Tumblr, I'm the author of the currently longest Tulpamancy guide in existence (my systemmates and I also worked on the longest Tulpamancy FAQ in existence), and we're also a mod on r/Tulpas. If you have any questions regarding Tulpamancy/Plurality, feel free to let us know! A lot of us love helping people!
What's Plurality? It's simply the state of being more than one, multiple conscious entities sharing a body. Tulpamancy is the act of creating one of these conscious entities, a tulpa, either intentionally or unintentionally. My systemmates have been here since 2017 and they're not leaving anytime soon! Please be nice to them.
This account is not plural-focused, though. If you follow, you'll see a motley of content, unlike our blog. Though, you'll still see plural stuff from time to time.
We joined the #Fediverse to check out the Plural Café Mastodon instance, but that instance is no longer being maintained, so we moved here. We've technically been on the fediverse since 2019, almost 6 years now (wow). Anyway, thanks for letting us move here!

Me chamo Gustavo. Minha conta no Mastodon principal é @qgustavor mas criei essa para ser uma conta com foco em assuntos em português, já que achei que seria meio chato para o pessoal gringo que me segue se do nada eu começasse a postar muita coisa em português.
Vou usar hashtags para falar de alguns assuntos que eu considero mais polêmicos, assim quem quiser me seguir e não quiser saber desses assuntos pode filtrá-los.
Não vou postar muito frequentemente, já que estou meio sem tempo por agora.
Enfim, é isso. Espero que dê tudo certo por aqui. -

Academic writing #AcWri is my thing as well as the #RealPolitik that surrounds it, eg calls for #SlowAcademia, ethical #AcademicPublishing practices, and ensuring those who don't easily get their academic voices heard are read (eg my work with https://www.ucl.ac.uk/nahrein/apply/academiq).

they are an engineering geologist (PG license 9758) who serves the public while at the California Geological Survey, Seismic Hazards and Tsunami programs. https://www.conservation.ca.gov/cgs/
he has been studying the tectonics of the Cascadia subduction zone (a convergent plate boundary fault system) for over 25 years (MS thesis at cal poly humboldt, dept geology). he is an adjunct professor at this dept. https://geology.humboldt.edu/
they studied marine sedimentary records (submarine landslide deposits called turbidites) of earthquakes offshore of Sumatra/Cascadia for my marine geology & geophysics PhD at oregon state university. https://ceoas.oregonstate.edu/
capital letters are over rated but chocolate and oxford commas are not.

#mastodonintroduction Hello! My current focus is improving the online course experience for both instructors + students. Closely coupled with that is helping fellow educators benefit from using #Markdown and related publishing workflows (which can also enhance an #LMS). My newest #FOSS project is https://docsify-this.net, which can display a Markdown files as a simple Web page in seconds🚀
