While our soft-launch for the website won’t be happening until Rosh Hashanah… those of you on the #Fediverse will be seeing us sooner.

This website is very much a work in progress with only about 5% of the planned content in place. Still, we do have a comprehensive directory of the Humanistic Jewish movement (including both affiliated and independent communities) and will be sharing a lot of other new content over time.

As far as I know it's some sort of blue staining bolete, but there endeth my knowledge.

When the yellow flesh is damaged and exposed to air it instantly turns blue like some sort of hedgerow magic

Interesting enough it was on the subject of #shitposting. They felt passionate about their right to throw #firebombs at me despite my calm and collected replies trying to find common ground.

They either blocked me or deleted ALL of their replies on the thread. Oh well, no time in my day for childish people. #Blocked

Hello all you new #TwitterMigration and #TwitterPurge peoples. I know a lot of you are #Journalists or have been flagged as an anti-Elon or something and have been kicked off bird site. I wanted to say welcome, we love to have you. Engaged people are what this environment is all about.

THAT BEING SAID!

Have you considered seeing if your #admin or instance has a method to chip them a few bucks? Lo.fi and other services cost you only a few dollars - but some instance admin might use it to to maintain the systems we're all in.

The #fediverse works because we all carry the effort. We're not consumers here and we're not products and that is a very different way to look at the world.

But it's one you're in. So consider being a good partner if you can. If you can't - please be a polite one... and maybe someday you'll be able to. :)

Since Mastodon has no #algorithm publications like this one rely on you to boost the message. If you'd like others to see this, give it a boost.

GIFs here aren't as seamless (yet!).

My exp is PC web and android.

For PC I'd suggest installing the GIPHY extension for your browser. This has moderate success for me.

On Android, install the GBoard keyboard as it has GIF search built into it. This works flawlessly for me.

And then, having had a fellow #Mastodonian mention his solo efforts, I went all-in on ex-David Devant frontman Mikey Georgeson's back catalogue...
