Doordat ik in december 2022 #mastochist toegang gaf tot mijn account (van de maker van Twopcharts) had ik vanmorgen een bevroren account nadat er een spambericht was geplaatst. Mastochist gehackt denk ik. Nog nooit meegemaakt, maar mastochist toestemming verwijderd en weer doooorrrrr. Fijne 2e kerstdag! 🌲

What is striking is that when you look up the hashtag #mastochist the accounts that were affected seem to be mostly dutch-language users.
What was this app and its usage? A Mastodon client or UI integration?

Anyway, revoke the app permission through your Settings > Accounts > Authorized apps.

If you cannot see Mastochist in your list, try Mastodon Super Tools.

"Turns out there's 100 more people affected, in a different database table. Please remove your #mastochist app permission."

"The latest affected tokens are under the name "Mastodon Super Tools" instead of "Mastochist". Please remove these promptly."
