Finisher de #MunichMilanGravel au terme de 6 jours, 16h et 31min de #vélo hier soir 😎
Si vous aimez les statistiques, ça donne :
- 791 km
- 13 001 m de dénivelé positif enregistrés mais probablement plus - 14 500m d'après les orgas (mon GPS se met en pause quand je suis trop lente 😅)
- 4 pays : Allemagne, Autriche, Suisse et Italie.
- environ 50% asphalte, 50% gravel (ressenti 80% gravel 😅)
- environ 20km à pousser le vélo 🫣Je prévois de faire un bilan plus complet de l'expérience mais la route continue 😊

Coucou Masto, post de la journée d'hier rédigé sur Polarsteps !
Quelques mots sur cette 4e journée sur la #MunichMilanGravel :
- départ à la fraîche après une nuit difficile 🥶
- grosses chaleurs : 38° 🥵
- des paysages toujours 😍
- encore une arrivée tardive 🤷🏻♀️C'était l'heure du choix entre le segment gravel et le segment route. J'avoue que malgré la "pénalité de 2h", mon choix est fait depuis un petit moment déjà 😅
L'avantage de rouler lentement et longtemps, et notamment le soir, c'est que je complète ma collection de couchers de soleil 😎

Journée à #Swissneyland (il paraît que c'est comme ça qu'on dit 😂) pour ce 3e jour de #MunichMilanGravel 😍
Journée toujours aussi challengeante avec du dénivelé qui s'intensifie encore, des montées souvent à 10-15%, et toujours les plus belles récompenses à la clé 😍
J'aurais bien rajouté quelques pignons à Olympe. En tout cas ça donne envie de tester le mountain biking.
J'ai oublié mes lunettes de soleil et mon portefeuille (cash, CB, carte d'identité, sécurité sociale...) à l'hôtel de ce matin et j'ai déjà changé de pays 😱
Bref, les anecdotes qui font le sel des aventures à #vélo !

A land-and-coast loop through #WestZeeuwsVlaanderen: starting at #KnokkeHeist train station, riding inland around #Oostburg, and returning along the #NorthSea dikes past #Breskens and #Cadzand.

Désolée les mastochoux, je suis épuisée, je vous ai lus mais je répondrai plus tard. La journée a été magnifique mais très difficile. J'avais à peine parcouru 80km au bout de 10h de route, j'ai donc revu mon objectif à la baisse.
Je me suis trouvée lente et lourde aujourd'hui, dans des sections gravel pas du tout praticables, j'ai dû descendre 12 fois de vélo 🫠😵
Le polarsteps est à jour avec plus de photos et de détails sur les fameuses sections non praticables, il y en a un petit florilège...

My Intercity train got cancelled due to the heatwave, so I had to take 2 regional trains.
The first train was packed like #Tetris at the end game!
I stopped in Narbonne for more than an hour, so I had time to meet a good friend for an ice cream.

La fin de la canicule m'a permis d'enfin acheter un gravel. L'idée trottait dans ma tête depuis presque un an et a été retardée depuis fin mai pour cause de trop chaud.
11 kg tout mouillé, 2×11 vitesses : ça change de mon VTC à assistance électrique (de 20 kg !) 😅.
En plus il est d'une marque homonyme d'un célèbre antagoniste de la saga Metroid 😎
