More people joined during the ride. Some streets were narrow, which made the procession quite lengthy. Most of the time, motorists remained patient as we blocked the street to keep the group together.

Dans la petite ville voisine il y a une gare avec des box à vélos en libre service, très pratiques, j’y range mon #vélo quand je pars pour plusieurs jours. J’attache mon vélo à l’intérieur, j’y laisse les sacoches et je ferme le box avec un second #antivol (cadenas en U). (photo 1)

Jeudi en rentrant tard j’ai trouvé la couche en espèce de plastique autour du métal en partie « frippée » (photo 2), et je me demande comment c’est arrivé, tentative de découpe ? le métal n’est pas touché mais cela affaiblirait déjà le cadenas ? je peux continuer à l’utiliser sereinement ? Quelqu’un·e a déjà vu ça ?

After 2 weeks back to swimming, I was able to reach 1000 meters today. I didn’t use my cane for the experiment 🥳

Last week, I started swimming: 500 meters of swimming, 1 km of walking with a cane, and climbing and descending 12 floors without a cane. Is this a new sport combined with the Olympic or Paralympic Games? ☺️

After, I was walking better without a cane in my apartment. I will do it multiple times a week!

I’m surprised at how quickly my recovery is progressing, especially with less than 10% of the prescribed opioids.

The opioid crisis and this document really scare me. In the first week after my accident, I quickly decided it was better to stay connected to my body.

This is my first short ride on my commute bicycle with my can attached (just in case). The only challenge is climbing my recovery leg over the bike at the start and end.

Just 10 km because I’m reasonable, now :-)

Last week, I began doing yoga with Jessica on Fitness+. For now, I’m doing a 10-minute slow flow, and I listen to my body’s needs.

I extended my walk to 5 km on Sunday, still slow. I can go up and down the 9 floors of my condo without my cane!

Hoping to start stationary indoor bicycle this week.

I sit in a chair to avoid putting too much weight on my fractured leg. I started with 10 minutes today.
