I'd tell you about the depth of my uninterest in MasterChef, but even typing those characters has exhausted this year's quota of fucks given on the subject.

MasterChef Australia is over and while the win was well-deserved, I would've been happy with either finalist winning because both are so good, just in different ways. And this might be the first season where I didn't have a preference.

Good Food is claiming last night’s episode of #MasterchefAU was pointless which is a blatant lie. Obviously the point was to have a filler in place in case the producers needed an unexpected eviction or second chance episode.

@PaulWay Agree. Origin and AGL are up to their necks in gas as well and are completely invested in maintaining their gas assets for as long as possible while delaying real #climateaction.
For the last month or so, Gas ads have appeared in almost every ad break (unrelenting) during Channel 10's flagship shows. And #MasterChefAU has been dragging its feet on switching to induction cooktops for years. However, the latest integration of gas propaganda into the show's content has been staggering. They are now shouting out what was once the quiet bits.

After watching every episode of #MasterChefAU since returning to Australia in 2016 - this has broken me. #greenwashing fossil fuels - especially as part of the program content is not ok and I am switching off. Is it not about time that #MasterChefAU start using induction cooktops and cut the connection to the gas industry? The fossil fuel industry ads are frankly appalling.
