35,000 odd deaths last year so at €100 a pop that's a nice, and climbing, €3,500,000 in predictable revenue for the Irish Times. Coupled with the myhome.ie revenues generated by listing the houses of the dead the IT is probably the most profitable operator in Ireland's death industry.

It looked rough in Galway Bay on Sunday morning - there was a yellow wind warning in effect. The Amasus cargo ship was moored just off Mutton island - presumably waiting for an opportunity to dock and unload a cargo of wind turbine blades.

With over 1,800 signatures on our #savebessborough petition, it's time to make sure those in power are aware of this.
Taking a leaf from the Clann Project's book, we're doing something similar. An email campaign with a clear message addressed to TDs, Senators and Cork City Councillors saying that ALL of the remaining grounds of Bessborough should be investigated & preserved.

Ah it’s hard being in the states sometimes… about the time I’m thinking of going to bed, all the lovely #Mastadaoine are waking up and sharing their thoughts 😄
Downsides of having a foot in two worlds, I suppose.
It’s worth it to learn more culture and embrace community, though.I feel like since we’re planning to take the plunge and move anyway, the least I can do is start putting down some digital roots and working on my #gaelige 🙂
