It looked rough in Galway Bay on Sunday morning - there was a yellow wind warning in effect. The Amasus cargo ship was moored just off Mutton island - presumably waiting for an opportunity to dock and unload a cargo of wind turbine blades.

Ah it’s hard being in the states sometimes… about the time I’m thinking of going to bed, all the lovely #Mastadaoine are waking up and sharing their thoughts 😄

Downsides of having a foot in two worlds, I suppose.
It’s worth it to learn more culture and embrace community, though.

I feel like since we’re planning to take the plunge and move anyway, the least I can do is start putting down some digital roots and working on my #gaelige 🙂
