While all of the #inpatient #Asylum #album is amazing I'm fairly surprised at myself when I put #MasonJar on loop quite so much, it's a proper vibe. But massive Props to #ChrisWebby #Ren & JP for making something so free.

Pretty good #Saturday:

1. Didn't want to heat up the house so I made #suntea in a #masonjar on the patio. Didn't want to turn the oven on either, so I set my plate and the frozen meal out on the hot patio as well, covered. #SolarCooking!

2. Went to bed when I was tired instead of pushing to stay up later. Woke up #rested for a perfect #sunrise.

3. Repotted a bunch of #sorrel which is becoming a regular additive to my #fresh green salads.

#Hoocho buckets on a metal pipe frame. Sealed Hoocho buckets under each for water/nutrients. The water wicks up via cotton rope/ the coco coir medium

5 gal bucket, 4 gal water jug w/Hoocho buckets on top . Easy to maintain and great for longer term grows .

The #masonjar #kratky vessels keep going. They are some of the easiest , long lasting, low maintenance methods for short /mid term herbs/greens.

Thanks to @ShaulaEvans and @VickiWoodward for the idea for this. Glass mason jar, silicone mesh for net cup, wicking string...add a covering, grow medium ( I like coco coir), water, nutrients, and seeds. All the base materials are reusable.

Folding the mesh without cuts is still something that needs work as the lid needs a bit of "nudges". Think origami.

G'morning.

As you can see, I managed to hold on to more of this morning's story dream than usual. At least the first part of it. The full dream went on quiet a while longer, including discovering a secret society that acted as living batteries for these creatures, and fighting the things and a love story...
