Headed to a pain clinic in Kingston. I wear my mask everywhere but especially in any medical setting. Let’s see how many people glare at me today with these ones on.

Na korytarzach pełno ostrzeżeń o zwiększonych zakażeniach grypy i covida, a tylko ja nosiłom maseczkę, nawet personel nie miał 😑 i jak tu świadomie obniżać sobie odporność, kiedy mało kto mnie chroni

Because of this I cannot see a friend of ~27 years this weekend before they move to the other side of the planet; missing their vow renewal & leaving party + some stuff tomorrow.
Thankfully it looks like we didn't infect people last weekend, at least not en masse - no one who's in touch who I knew was in the vicinity.

Masks work.
Not had any (symptomatic or test-positive) infection since before the pandemic now.
And they're cheap. And easy (outside a few very rare medical conditions, mostly affecting people who'd really need the protection of others).
I don't understand why they're not pervasive.

Still haven't had #COVID19, ever.
(It's conceivable that I've been asymptomatic, but given how sensitive my immune system normally is and that I still test, rather unlikely.)
It's almost as if #MasksWork (as do other mitigations) and it didn't have to be "inevitable"? 🤷
