De haven van Rotterdam wordt opnieuw gebruikt voor de doorvoer van mogelijke militaire lading richting Israël. Schepen van Maersk spelen hierin een rol.
Dat moet stoppen.

Vanaf daar lopen we samen in protestmars naar het stadhuis om een duidelijk signaal af te geven: 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗮𝗴 𝗴𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘃𝗼𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘇𝗶𝗷𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻.
Deze actie komt vlak vóór de bijeenkomst van de grote aandeelhouders van Maersk op 25 maart. Met onze demonstratie sturen we hen een duidelijke boodschap:

We demand that the Mayor don't let the Izmir dock in Rotterdam on Friday, June 27. Maersk is feeling the pressure! After our protest was announced, the Izmir went off the radar for hours, then its arrival in Rotterdam got delayed until the 27th of June.
📛 We will still be protesting on the 24th! This gives mayor Carola Schouten two additional days to honor our demand: deny all ships carrying Israeli weapons entry to the port of Rotterdam. Stop the Izmir!

Uit dit nieuwe onthullende rapport van de Palestinian Youth Movement wordt de waarheid pijnlijk duidelijk: de genocide in Gaza zou niet mogelijk zijn zonder de faciliterende rol van de haven van Rotterdam. De haven en de gemeente hebben bloed aan hun handen. Dit moet stoppen!
🪧 Op woensdag avond 4 juni om 18:30 staan we daarom weer voor het stadhuis om onze eisen te laten horen: Controleer elk schip op F35 onderdelen, laat deze de haven niet in en de een grootschalig onderzoek naar de rol van de haven van Rotterdam in de genocide in Gaza en alle andere mensenrechtenschendingen.
