It is HARD being different.

But better to do what helps me sleep at night than to go along with the norm, against my conscience.

Sometimes I just need the reminder, to bolster my courage and buck myself up. 💪

(This perspective applies to many things but I'm using it now to feel better about my husband and me literally being the only #maskers in a packed, poorly ventilated auditorium for my kid's school awards night. #CovidIsNotOver)

@mcmullin My husband and I are #novid people. We keep #masking indoors and crowded areas. We don’t care what nonmaskers think. I hope I won’t jinx it but I haven’t been sick in perhaps 7+ years. The other night we went to a concert and there I met my acquaintance whom I haven’t seen in about 15 years and who told me that I age like Benjamin Button from the movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” - I guess being healthy has advantages. Who wants to spend money on doctors and hospitals on top of being miserable with sickness? Don’t get #covid , #mask - and thank you all fellow #maskers - stay strong.
