Got my COVID vaccine. The CVS person didn't seem super friendly, despite my being friendly. Hadn't seen him before, and I wonder if he was startled by the mask. (If so, maybe that's why he put on the heart bandaid upside-down.)

I'm done, for tonight. People who stopped masking are asking for vascular illness. Strokes & more coming at unmasked folks. Done trying to educate. People can die & choose to become disabled. They should look up HIV AIDS - same public ignorance on vascular but airborne hits more people.

Mom's night nurse kept apologizing. I told her, straight up - I don't need any apologies from you or any unit staff. I just need you all to do a lot better with masking up, while at work. I've gone 12 hours on shifts with clients & never took my mask off the entire time.

How can you help me/Mom & many others - start using any privileges you have to call out unmasked people, especially in hospital settings, especially if they're public health care workers. I do that, daily - when at work & when not at work.
Please use your privileges more to use your voice. I have lesser privileges than many here & I'm always using my voice for not just people I love but people I don't even know.

I just had an xray tech that wanted me to unmask. I explained that there were no covid precautions in place to make that safe for me. They replied that they disinfect between patients. I said "But that doesn't clean the air. Covid is airborne". Blank look, "Is it?"
