Elephants are intelligent, family-oriented and very strong. However, elephant eyesight is not the best, thogh they are the largest mammal on the land. The average size of an elephant's eye is 1.5" inch diameter with their eyes on the side rather in front. Elephant eyes are only slightly larger than a human's eye, which is on average 1" inch in diameter.
