  1. Just spent way too much time recalibrating the d4-d12 #MarvelHeroicRoleplaying scale for a DC/Marvel game that assumes d10 and d12 powers are a lot weaker and d12 skills are a lot more common.

On the other hand, it was a lot of fun deciding which of Batman's many d10 Masteries could be d12 Grandmasteries to create contrasts between the Devilbat and the other leaders of the Chaste: the Green Dragon (Oliver Rand) and Hamato Yoshi, more commonly known as Master Stick.

  2. Clusterverse! is a play-by-forum TTRPG on RPOL.net where build their own mini-multiverse out of loose scraps of Marvel and DC multiversal canon-- and fuse their favorite characters into unique Almagam heroes and villains.

You'll need 'adult' privileges on RPOL.net to apply.

  3. I'm planning an "open table" superhero game-- #Cortex / #MarvelHeroicRoleplaying -- with a setting that is an " #Amalgam clusterverse":

Every timeline in the setting is an Amalgam of specific, themed facets of #DC and #Marvel timelines. Most characters (and all PCs) are fusions of a canon Marvel character and a canon DC character.

If the main DC and Marvel universes are represented well enough, the definitions of 'DC' and 'Marvel" can include things like #MOTU and #TMNT

Oh, a lot of franchises that people like to "translate" to D&D already have their own official RPGs. They vary in quality, but there's usually some effort to make the system fit the fiction, rather than trying to wrap the frayed hide of the fiction around the system.
