I'm currently using #Midjourney to generate #SouthAsian versions of #MarvelAvengers and it's making me weirdly emotional.
As a little kid, #MarvelComics were an escape from my daily racist bullying at the hands of white teachers and schoolmates.
The images I'm generating now... I wish I could have seen #Indian #superheroes like this back in 1971.
It would have made a huge difference to me.

If you happen to be interested in both #instructionaldesign and #videogames, it's fun to analyze the different design choices made in #onboarding the player to the relevant controls. #HorizonForbiddenWest is excellent at this, while #MarvelAvengers is unusually poor. (Yes I got a #ps5 for 🎄).
Learning in context > minimal context. Design for forgetting > one and done.
Discovery > didactic.
Intrinsic motivation > extrinsic.
Learner choice > one size fits all. -
