Marta Molnar's 3rd book in her Light & Life Series which highlights women in history who have not received the recognition their contributions deserve. In this case Helen Churchill Candee - American author + feminist, but perhaps best remembered as a survivor from theTitanic.
The book uses dual timelines, intertwining a present-day research team hoping to uncover the names of unidentified victims of the sinking, with the story of Candee herself. While a great page turner, for me the modern tale suffered in comparison to Candee's fascinating life!
