This was my first automatic watch. It was £37. I now have a further three automatic watches (Ruhla, Invicta, Seiko) and this remains the most accurate. It’s not to everyone’s taste (to me it is both subtle *and* gaudy!) but I always enjoy wearing it… and that’s the whole point.

Anyone rocking their cheap unknowns out there?

We're finally configuring Wireguard - but we only get a third of the way there in this blog post. Lots of exciting option config stuff tho, and a new blog feature which lets me interrupt myself.

As an American child I assumed the paste was either tuna salad or peanut butter. I'd never even heard of #Marmite, if indeed that's what Lewis intended it to be. It could be some other British sandwich filling of which I have no inkling.

I chickened out of a group walk this morning because of the wet weather forecast. It brightened up in the afternoon so I walked across to Cragside. Quite a change from a couple of weeks ago when they were turning people away, hardly anyone was there. I tried the scone of the month, savory cheese and marmite!
