Friday night fitba returns π
Arbroath v Ayr in #scottishchampionship This should be a good game with newly promoted Arbroath taking on last year's championship hopefuls.
I've just finished watching a great Podcast with Ardnamurchan's Carl Crafts, so for the first dram of the weekend it can only be one thing:
AD 2014 CK233, unpeated, Concerto barley from Broomhall Farm, matured in ex-Oloroso, Spanish Oak, 53.4%. And thanks to Kelly and Holly for filling the bottle - I love the detailed information you get on a bottle of Ardnamurchan π
Loads of red fruit on the nose: strawberries, raspberries and a touch of black cherry. Pencil shavings. More juicy red fruit on the palate with sticky raisins, liquorice and black treacle, sweet, cinnamon-spiced apple finish.
Wonderful!
