This is exactly what I wanted: a simple text editor that just reads/writes the files from a configurable subfolder in the Documents folder, so that I can move files in/out via Material Files' FTP server feature (or plugging in the phone to a computer). Definitely adding #Markor to my list of favorite/recommended apps.

Um que tenho usado pra compartilhar notas com algumas pessoas é o [privatebin] (https;://privatebin.net) é um pastebin mas com suporte a criptografia e instância publica.

Nachdem mir #Logseq zu langsam startete und auch zu kompliziert war, bin ich jetzt auch bei #Markor gelandet.

Diese Woche geht's bei @ajfriesen und mir um HACS, dem Home Assistant Community Store. Was macht er? Wie nutzt man ihn? Und was gibt es zu beachten? Darüber hinaus reden wir über Notizen. Welche Apps gibt es? Was nutzen wir? Wie organisieren wir Notizen und wie halten wir sie synchron?

@razorback Thanks for that tip. Didn't have this on my list so far.

Unfortunately, it can't deal with large Orgdown files: it takes endlessly or it even crashes. #Markor may look promising but it fails with my use-cases.

@thelinuxcast I'm a plaintext kinda guy, mostly using markdown for #notetaking.
So from my smartphone I recommend #markor, which I sync to computer with #syncthing (using dir - `Documents/notes/` for all my #notes), and then just use either Vim or Sublime.

#PrintNotes is a weird one. It's made in "traditional" #material #design, which is a bit outdated to today's standards.

There aren't any on screen distractions, unlike with Markor - but it's toolset is pragmatic and should get you editing quickly. This is a middle ground between #SimpleMarkdown and #Markor.

#Markor is a mainstay for #Android #Markdown editors. It bridges the gap between document writer and note taker by separation of concerns.

As an editor, it has some fairly complex features, like making custom tables to illustrate data.

But it's also old in design and usability. Had to bump up the text size for my own convenience, but still doesn't out compete any of the other editors (like #OpenNote) in that regard.

@jp I'm using #syncthing to sync the posts to my home server. Then a script runs regularly using #cron and updates the site.
I'm using #markor in #android as well.

J'utilise aussi #markor avec une synchronisation du répertoire vers Onedrive. Markor permet de prendre des notes dans des fichiers locaux en Markdown et de les restituer. Il ne gère pas d'indexation ni de tags, mais il fait bien ce qu'il fait et est en licence libre et open source (License Apache V2.0).

Os digo una cosa. Si sois usuarios de GNU/Linux y Android, nada mejor para mantener un sistema de notas personales que Zim Wiki + Markor y sincronización con Nextcloud. Software libre del bueno, bonito y barato, basado en texto plano.
