"Bad Time" is a song written by #MarkFarner and performed by #GrandFunk. The song is featured on the band's 1974 album, #AllTheGirlsInTheWorldBeware. It peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 the weeks of June 7 and 14, 1975. #JimmyIenner produced the song, and it was arranged by #TonyCamillo. It was the group's fourth and final single to reach the Top 10, and their final Top 40 hit in the U.S. "Bad Time" marked the end of the group's two-year run as Grand Funk.

"I'm Your Captain (Closer to Home)" is a 1970 song written by American musician #MarkFarner and recorded by #GrandFunkRailroad as the closing track to their 1970 album #CloserToHome. Ten minutes in duration, it is the band's longest studio recording. One of the group's best-known songs, it is composed as two distinct but closely related movements. Its title has been rendered in various ways across many different Grand Funk albums, including "I'm Your Captain".
