The smarter thing for #MarkZuckerberg would have been to figure out the maximum size/weight of #VR device that people could comfortably use, and figure out what subset of the functionality could fit into that form factor.
That is why I am excited about the glasses that just let you watch movies privately. They seem like the VR equivalent of the iPod, which could eventually expand to be the VR equivalent of the iPhone.

Z raportów serwisu The Information wynika, że gigant pod wodzą Marka Zuckerberga pracuje nad projektem o kryptonimie „Hatch”. To nie jest kolejny czatbot do pisania wierszy – to „agentyczny” asystent, którego zadaniem będzie odciążenie nas w procesie zakupowym i… finalizowanie transakcji w naszym imieniu.
Hatch: kiedy AI przestaje gadać, a zaczyna działać
Koncepcja „agentów AI” to wielki temat roku 2026. O ile dotychczasowe boty potrafiły głównie analizować tekst, o tyle Hatch ma mieć zdolność do realnego działania wewnątrz aplikacji. Zamiast przekopywać się przez dziesiątki ofert, powiemy asystentowi, czego szukamy (np. „znajdź mi lnianą koszulę w kolorze błękitnym do 300 zł, która ma dobre opinie”), a AI zajmie się resztą – od wyszukania produktu, po przygotowanie koszyka.
Hatch ma bazować na nowym modelu językowym Meta – Muse Spark. W odróżnieniu od prostych asystentów, ten system ma zdolność do „analizy, myślenia i działania”. Według Financial Times, Meta testuje już te rozwiązania wewnętrznie, przygotowując grunt pod rewolucję w e-commerce.
Miliardy dolarów na „zakupowego bota”
Wszystko to brzmi jak futurystyczna wizja, ale ma swoje twarde uzasadnienie w tabelkach Excela. Wyniki finansowe Meta za pierwszy kwartał 2026 roku pokazały, że Zuckerberg wydał na rozwój AI astronomiczne 33 miliardy dolarów w zaledwie trzy miesiące. Inwestorzy, patrząc na te kwoty, oczekują konkretnych narzędzi, które zaczną zarabiać. Hatch, zintegrowany z zakupową infrastrukturą Instagrama, ma być odpowiedzią na pytanie, jak zmonetyzować „agentowe” AI na masową skalę.
Naszym zdaniem
Na ten moment projekt Hatch jest w fazie wczesnych testów i nie powinniśmy się spodziewać jego debiutu w naszych telefonach z dnia na dzień. Niemniej, kierunek jest jasny: Meta chce, aby zakupy w social mediach stały się całkowicie bezwysiłkowe.
Pytanie tylko, czy jesteśmy gotowi dać algorytmom Instagrama „wolną rękę” w finalizowaniu naszych transakcji? Sieć już teraz zna nasze gusta i słabości lepiej niż my sami. Wyposażenie jej w narzędzia do samodzielnego realizowania zakupów to odważny krok, który może wymazać resztki naszej asertywności finansowej na rzecz „magicznego” przycisku „kup za mnie”. I to nie musi być wcale dobra wiadomość. Dla nas. Nie dla Zuckerberga.
