On tap for today: more boat cleaning/waxing, volunteering as food helper for yacht club season opening event, participating in marina swap meet, more boat cleaning/waxing, dinner at the yacht club party. This is a really big annual event that includes a pig roast, grilled oysters, and all kinds of great food. There's also a boat parade, but since I haven't decorated my boat I will not be participating. #boating #MarinaLife #BoatLife

A boat disturbs the water
As you may have seen over the last few days I was taking photos of the boats moored in Kinsale Harbour. Until another boat came along and sped past, disturbing the scene and rocking everything about. Still a lovely evening there, and it was about time to move on anyway. 🙂

Feeling grateful for the marina community this weekend. A neighbour has been helping me alter my kitchen for more storage, another fixed my leaky radiator, and another cooked me meals for the week. I’m helping folks with tech and we’re sharing and reusing furniture/tools etc. We’ve got some of the elements of cohousing that appeal to me 😀
