She writes, "I would like to think that anyone reading this will come away with some idea of the underlying PHILOSOPHY of the Salad Sandwich."
She goes on to cover its democratic and structural aspects, as well as referring to the decline of the Roman Empire, quoting Macbeth, and suggesting plenty of delectable ingredients and combinations.
Well worth the read.
