Most successful bits of a first stab at paper marbling as a rainy day activity. I clearly have some debugging to do—I don't think the paper took up the mordant (the alum used to help bind the pigment to paper) all that well, possibly because I was using our tap water, but I have a few things to try out for next time.

Still, I've got a real soft spot for this piece, for its zen like character, the movements, the huge variance of resulting visuals... Over the past year I've been watching hundreds of versions regulary in the evenings to calm my mind before going to sleep... 🤩
