I have been enjoying the #MapMen Youtube videos for a long time and they were recently interviewed about their new book. This statement struck me
“And Mark and I are of the opinion that actually those two things go together very well because if you make something silly and funny and fun, you're going to remember it more”

Of course #MapMen 's book "This Way Up" begins with puns in the first, usually annoying, page with all the legal jargon.

#Gerrymandering, especially in the U.S., has been covered by numerous videos already. (The 2011 video by CGP Grey is a classic.) But because I’m a fan of the #MapMen, their hilarious take on the subject is very much appreciated. 😂

One solution the #MapMen don't mention (presumably for the sake of humour) is to merge constituencies together, and have multiple representatives for each constituency instead of just one. That's what we do in Ireland and it works acceptably well. (Doesn't stop politicians from being shite, but they're less bad than in Britain).
