لازلت أعاني من اجل ضبط و تشغيل تطبيق مانيفيرس #manyverse على أندرويد. هذا التطبيق يمكن التواصل مع الآخرين عبر بروتوكول #scuttlebutt للتواصل الاجتماعي.
الغريب في هذ الشبكة اللامركزية هو طريقة عملها. حيث أنها تستطيع العمل حتى بدون خوادم. -
Just discovered that I installed #manyverse on my machine long ago and never used it. I don't see a lot of talk about it, but I'm curious - is anyone here using it?

I'm curious, is there a strong #SecureScuttlebutt¹ community in #Czechia?
or for that matter, is there a strong #SSB community like, anywhere?because ideologically speaking, I consider SSB to be far superior to Activitypub, like a strong and healthy SSB network will likely be better in many ways. but the network effect working against SSB is *so much stronger* than with the Fediverse, which is essentially the only reason I'm posting it on Mastodon and not on #Manyverse.²

Это уже не новость, но @staltz покинул проект #Manyverse оставшиеся участники проекта выпустили последнее обновление, в дальнейшем судя по информации с сайта проект ожидает заморозка.
Так же, другой разработчик проекта разрабатывает новый протокол #PZP основанный на части идей #SSB но готового приложения доступного пользователям пока нет.Информацию о PZP ищи на: https://pzp.wiki/
Жаль, идея Manyverse меня вдохновляла, но я успел увидеть только закат проекта.

Я не разработчик и даже не системный администратор, но свобода слова, стабильная связь и доступ к информации очень важны для меня и то что произошло в команде #manyverse очень тревожит меня.🌐
Моё приложение по прежнему вылетает с ошибкой, но речь не об этом. Я искренне переживаю что проект умрёт из за внутренних проблем или разногласий внутри команды разработчиков. Тем не менее хочу верить в лучшее и желаю команде @manyver_se 💙 успехов и гениальных открытий. Я по прежнему люблю ваш проект. 😍

Вообще это довольно странное ощущение..... сейчас объясню.
В моём круге общения оффлайн нет не кого, кто был бы заинтересован в #p2p или #федивёрс и так же не много радиолюбителей, по этому в жизни я часто выбиваюсь из социума, по мимо этого у меня много других интересов, хобби и взглядов, которые для многих выглядят странно.
По этому, для меня сейчас любой интерес к моим публикациям в #fediverse и #manyverse как признак того, что кто то разделяет моё виденье и мнение. Спасибо, вы крутые!

The latest version of ManyVerse in @fdroidorg is almost a year old. Are there any newer versions? Any that use the new protocol?
If so, what needs to happen to get them into F-Droid?

Вдохновившись вот этой статьёй с Хабра, решил посмотреть, что есть такое децентрализованные сети на протоколе SSB.
Скачал клиент Manyverse, установил его и... на этом всё. Говорит получи приглашение или создай сервер комнат. Полез искать, нашёл через тему на 4pda пару публичных серверов. Подключился.
Но публичной ленты и контактов всё-равно нет. Т.е. либо ты приходишь со своими связями, либо сидишь и смотришь в окошко с пчёлкой. Я не понимаю как это всё должно работать. Где взять контакты? Кого здесь читать, кому здесь писать?

Having just installed #Manyverse, I'm finding that the #scuttlebutt universe is more like email (and gossip!) than I imagined.
There seems to be no way to explore it unless
* you have a pre-existing connection to someone already in that universe who is willing to communicate via #ssb OR
* you can interest an insider in communicating with you OR
* you can form a cohort who all join up and communicate with each other.
Better for strengthening social ties than for establishing them. -

F-Droid released their latest build of the @manyver_se SSB app (0.2302.2-beta) 4 days ago, replacing their badly broken 0.2212.19 build.
This time I've been able to fill in my profile, find the addresses people can use to follow me (if you use SSB, DM me for my SSB URI or cypherlink). I've also successfully joined public roomservers:

I installed #Manyverse in order to experience the #SecureScuttlebutt network, but I guess that might be the end of my experience, since I don't actually know anybody in #ssb, and there's not really a way to find people you might know. If you're on it, send me an invite, I guess? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Temas como la censura tanto como pasa en el #fediverso también pueden suceder con el protocolo de la red Nostr #nostr , solo que la estructura, a la segunda la hace un poco más resistente, si bien la centralización es la opción menos resistente a la censura, el fediverso mejora eso con lo federado, la descentralización y dando más poder al usuario, sin embargo la censura puede ocurrir todavía, es ahí donde Nostr en su estructura cambia un poco y se hace más resistente que el Fediverso, dando más poder al usuario con su forma de identificación por claves criptograficas (que lo de los relays no dan ventaja en ese sentido pero si en el tráfico), ojo no es incensurable, también lo es, no evita la censura pero si la evade más fácilmente, siendo eso mayor resistencia a la censura, Algo que me preocupa de las redes y más las que funcionan a través de internet es el gasto de energía que genera, etc. pero en lo que promueve vale la pena tirarle un ojo a Nostr y demás proyectos descentralizados (como aquí los del fedi y otros que hay, dejo unos links a proyectos en el que Nostr me recuerda, que me hace percibirle como una combinación de ellos, en idea y estructura pero no en protocolos, en objetivos son dierentes y etc, hablo de #manyverse y #briar). Nota: Nostr mayormente lo usan bitcoiners actualmente pero es un proyecto aparte, no derivado de ello.

Does anyone here use #SecureScuttlebutt apps for building a community? I have #Manyverse installed — I love the concept, the execution, and the idea of the *distributed* tech behind it (public key signed posts that you get directly from their app, or from a follower who’s stored them; no ‘server’) but … it’s a ghost town for me, cos no-one I know uses it!
It’s definitely considerably less polished than mastodon, but I can’t help but fall in love with #distributed over #decentralised.

I have the latest version of @manyver_se from F-Droid and I still can't get it to do anything at all.
* The app opens on the Public tab, which just says "loading"
* The Private and Activity tabs are blank
* Clicking on the Manyverse logo in the top left brings up a blank tab.
* The Connections tab says "not connected" and tells me I need a room server invite. I tried got invite codes for a couple of public rooms and tried to join, see:
